During my recent romantic escape to the Watermill Inn & Brewery in Ings, I had an experience that delighted both my palate and spirit. The charming pub welcomed us with a variety of their own award-winning beers, perfectly brewed onsite-appropriate for any beer enthusiast like myself. Our room was impeccably clean and surprisingly spacious, complete with a lovely balcony where we enjoyed leisurely afternoon drinks, soaking up the Lake District sun. The rustic charm of the oak-beamed bar offered a cozy atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploring local trails, with plenty of vegan options available on the unpretentious yet satisfying food menu. the substantial breakfast included in our stay left no space for complaint; it was the ideal start before another day of outdoor adventure. For anyone-solo or travelling with loved ones-looking for a unique escape infused with exquisite local brews and hearty meals, the Watermill Inn truly is a hidden gem.
